Welcome to Lenzie ND Parents & Carers

Navigating the world of neurodiversity can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to do it alone. Lenzie ND Parents & Carers was created by local parents to ensure every family in our community has access to peer support, shared knowledge, and a sympathetic ear.

Who We Are

We are an informal, peer-led support group for parents and carers raising neurodivergent children (including Autistic, ADHD, Dyslexic, Dyspraxic, PDA, and other neurodivergent profiles) in Lenzie and nearby communities.

Whether your child has a formal diagnosis, is currently on an assessment pathway, or you are simply exploring support options, you are warmly welcome here.

Our Purpose & Values

  • Peer Support: Creating a safe, non-judgmental space where parents can speak openly, feel understood, and share both challenges and wins.

  • Shared Knowledge: Helping each other navigate local education, health services, and community resources across East Dunbartonshire.

  • Community & Connection: Building strong connections between families so both carers and children feel less isolated.

What We Do

  • Regular Meetups: Informal coffee mornings and evening sessions to connect with other carers.

  • Information Sharing: Directing families towards useful local services, workshops, and support networks.

  • Family Activities: Organizing safe, inclusive events and gatherings where neurodivergent children and their families can relax and enjoy themselves.

Ready to Connect? Whether you want to drop into a meeting or just ask a quick question, we'd love to hear from you.

Text reads 'Lenzie Neurodiversity Carers Circle' with decorative swirls, leaves, and a handshake icon in a soft pastel color palette.
